In the event of a tie on points, the following tiebreaking system will apply (only move to the next numbered tiebreaker if players tying are still equal): The winner of the WPT Player of the Festival award will be the player who earns the most POF points during the period comprising such WPT Festival. The buy-in categories include a number of buy-in brackets, for example USD$500 to $999, and separate categories for WPTDS/Prime Main Events & Main Tour Main Events.
WPT Player of the Festival points are awarded based on two variables, the total prize pool of each eligible event and the buy-in category. Season XXI WPT Prime & WPT Main Tour Festivals
